Ayling Zulema Dominguez

Ayling Zulema Dominguez is a poet, mixed media artist, and youth arts educator from Bronx, NY, with roots in Mexico and Dominican Republic. They've been writing ever since they could hold a pencil and had the urge to express their imagined worlds. As a culture strategist, Ayling's poetry is shared with the hope of helping queer, Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color, perceive and attain wholeness outside systems of oppression. They are currently an MFA candidate in poetry at Arizona State University, working on murals across Phoenix and Tempe, and still virtually teaching students back home in the Bronx.
